First Alert SA710AB 9V Extended Life Alkaline Battery Powered Photoelectric Smoke Alarm Review
The First Alert Model (SA710AB) smoke detector has all the features necessary to provide the early warnings of a fire. Some of the features included are a photoelectric smoke sensing chamber, an 85dB horn, a supervised 9V extended life alkaline battery power supply, single button test/silence switch, silence feature to silence unwanted nuisance alarms, red LED light that indicates DC power or alarm, and Optipath 360 technology providing 360 degrees of direct access to the smoke sensing chamber. Tamper resistant pins accommodate the unit to prevent from battery theft, while the horn will chirp approximately once per minute to indicate a fresh battery is needed. Designed for wall or ceiling mounting and includes mounting anchors and screws.
